Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address, and an optional display name, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Business records you enter — inventory items, sales, expenses, platform listings, and related notes.
• Photos you add — item photos and receipt/order-confirmation images you capture or select. These are stored so you can view them and, for receipts, to extract details.
• Device push token — if you enable notifications, a push token for your device so we can send you alerts (e.g. aging-inventory reminders).

We do not collect your contacts, location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

• To provide the app's features: storing and displaying your inventory, sales, expenses, and photos.
• AI extraction — when you use “Generate AI listing” or “Scan a receipt,” the relevant photo and text are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a listing draft or read the receipt. This is used only to return the result to you; it is not used to train models.
• Notifications — your push token is used to deliver notifications you've enabled. You can turn these off in the app's Settings or your device settings.

Your data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase (Postgres database and file storage). Photos and receipts are kept in private storage accessible only to your account. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push service and Apple (APNs) / Google (FCM).

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app:

• Supabase — database and file storage.
• Anthropic — AI processing of photos/receipts you choose to submit.
• Expo / Apple / Google — push notification delivery.

Each processes data on our behalf to provide the service. We do not sell or rent personal data.

• Access and edit — you can view and edit your records in the app at any time.
• Delete — you can delete individual items, sales, expenses, and photos. To delete your entire account and associated data, contact us (below) or use the account-deletion option where available.
• Notifications — toggle off in Settings, or in your device's notification settings.

Profit Closet is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be surfaced in the app or by email.
